Simulation Model and Performance Analysis for Distributed Compressed Air Energy Storage under Off-design Conditions

Abstract The dual carbon target in China, which is set to improve the low and economy of regional microgrid (villages northwest China for example) energy consumption, proposed use compressed air storage utilization rate distributed new reduce cost power purchase upper grid. Therefore, system dynamic characteristics simulation performance analysis under wide working conditions are very important improving energy. Firstly, operation compression subsystem turbine analyzed. Secondly, mathematical models subsystem, throttle valve, chamber established. Finally, release different studied through simulation. results show that condition high mass flow rate, pressure can be increased by 8.29 MPa, temperature 82 °C. research provide a theoretical basis design storage.
